Maybe someday Disney will publish itineraries yearrrrrs in advance, with prices that do not move while you blink. Today is not that day.

One of my recurring character flaws as a Disney Cruise Line Travel Agent is that I love certainty.

Disney Cruise Line does not share my POV on this one.

What can you book right now on Disney Cruise?

We can book Disney sailings through May 2027. Which is helpful.

It is also where the planners among you start to get antsy: Summer 2027 is far away, but tbh not THAT far away.

And unlike Spring Break 28 (hardly any academic calendars are set for that yet), YOU KNOW you'll have Summer 2027 off. You can book with confidence.

There's a twist on this new set of dates

Galveston.

If Disney gives us dates a year-round ship in Galveston, it changes everything for Texas families.

It is the difference between planning a vacation and starting a new personality trait that includes a dedicated shelf in your living room for popcorn buckets.

If we can get a new ship within driving distance and kill the whole flight nonsense for Texans? HOLY MOLY WE ARE GOING TO EAT THAT UPPPPP.

The reason this rumor has legs is not just vibes. Last year, Port of Galveston CEO Rodger Rees said Disney would be expanding to full time in Galveston starting in 2027, and he mentioned the possibility of a larger ship.

Disney, when asked, did not confirm. So naturally, the internet did what the internet does.

It picked a ship. (Wish!)

Did you know you can buy this blankie and it's monstrously expensive but also maybe totally worth it?

I get why people land there. Wish hits that sweet spot of big enough to feel like a flex, new enough to feel like a headline, and popular enough that Disney can make the numbers work.

There is also the ongoing speculation that Wish is due for a dry dock in summer 2027, she will head to Europe for the summer season and that pairs neatly with this theory.

If she heads across the pond, and then comes back freshened up, a new home port is not a crazy idea.

Then again, it could be Dream. Or Fantasy. Those ships are older, it fits the "Galveston gets our old ships" vibe they've been doing for ages, and I am honestly surprised more people are not talking about them as year round Galveston candidates.

But right now, the Galveston rumor machine keeps circling back to Wish, largely because the port director made such a big, grand statement.

And the thing is, we don't know how much weight to give that.

Port leadership can have real insight. Port leadership can also have incentives to sound confident on camera. Both things can be true at the same time.

Did you know the Oceaneer Club is open late? YEP, 11pm most nights, ages 3-10.

Sooo, what happens now? How do you get in on this hype and bend it to your advantage?

The moment new itineraries drop, the sailings that matter most to families are the ones that see fare increases first.

If you are thinking about 2027 and 2028, the play is not to wait for the announcement and then scramble and hope you have time to figure it out on whatever surprise day Disney releases these.

The play is to get on my list, become one of my clients (free, it's freeeeeeee!) and be ready before the announcement.

Fill out my interest form, you can tap that link or just scroll to the bottom of this page. Not because I love digital paperwork. (I do not.)

Because the day Disney drops new itineraries, the difference between calm planning and chaos is whether you are already in my system with your basic wants and needs.

Disney thought of everything: This Toy Story splash pad is ADORABLE and fully fenced for runaway toddler purposes.

Okay, I filled out the form, how is this gonna work?

I will let you know when the dates release (that's right, you don't need to babysit the headlines) and then I will show you options.

You will get CUSTOMIZED options. You already told me what you want and who is traveling and their ages so now I can send you ACTUAL NUMBERS and REAL DATES right off the bat. I will also be able to tell you real fast what best weeks are for deals.

You do not have to spend four hours on the DCL website figuring out "what's good."

When your booking window opens I will get your room locked down before the rush happens.

I have access to a different booking platform and a different support team shoreside. The Disney Cruise Line website is FAMOUS for crashing on high-traffic days, and new itinerary day? LOLOLOL good luck to all who try and book on the consumer-facing site. It is not uncommon to see 1-800 phone line wait times of SEVERAL HOURS on these days.

You want me to book this for you while you do other things with your time.

That's kind of my whole thing: I MAKE THIS EASY.

Galveston is its own category of madness

If we get a new ship, any ship, in Galveston, there will be an absolutely wild rush to book. Texas families love a drive to port that does not involve TSA and a prayer.

There are lots of families new to Disney Cruise in Texas but there are also A WHOLE BUNCH who have done Magic and want something different. You will be competing for those rooms and low, opening-day fares.

Go ahead and get on my list now.

When the dates drop, I will already know what you want.

I do not quote over DM. I am way too busy for that, I have to follow a system that ensures I do not lose your important details and if you aren't in my system?

You're at the bottom of my list while Disney’s pricing is doing its little upward dance as the ship begins to sell.

Will we get a ship that ISN'T Magic in Galveston?

Ready? I don't charge a planning fee. This is FREE to you.

Here's the form, get on my list and tell your friends, "My Disney Cruise Travel Agent handled it for me."
